Baptism Christening Candle
In Catholicism, whats the difference between a Christening and a Baptism?

I always thought that the terms were interchangeable. Now that I am going to be a Godparent however, I think its important I know for sure.

I need to get my little godson a candle - does it matter whether it says Baptism or Christening on it? Should I put his name on it? Any other recommendations?

As a Catholic, I can tell you that the child will be baptized. We don't call it a christening which technically is just naming a child. So it would be proper to get something with the baptism etched on it.
