Does this kind of theft bother anybody else this much?

This isn't exactly an R/S question, but it doesn't exactly fit a category. My house is inside a historic cemetery and I've become very aware of the vandalism and theft of vases, statues, etc. I'm not an ancestor worshipper. I know crimes against the living are worse. But it just seems like such a desecration on a spiritual level. We're the only people living here so a neighborhood watch would be a little difficult. Would you feel this way too, or not? (Let me hasten to add, this is thievery, please, no bad words toward pagans or Wiccans.)

I hate it when people vandalize cemeteries. I wish I lived inside a historic one. I would patrol it every time I heard someone messing around.

It is a felony here in my state.
