Coffin Casket
What's the difference between a casket and a coffin?
You know, there really wasn't a good category for this!
There is a small difference between the two:
Coffin - a tapered hexagonal or octagonal box used for a burial. Casket - a rectangular burial box with a split lid used for viewing the deceased.
Most people see a "casket" when attending a funeral. Caskets are also used in funerals depicted on television.
