What does "let him DENY himself and take up HIS CROSS and FOLLOW ME" mean?
34Then he called the crowd to him along with his disciples and said: "If anyone would come after me, he must deny himself and take up his cross and follow me.

We deny ourselves by not being self-dependent but God-dependent, not our will but His be done. We take up the cross when we acknowledged that our flesh is crucified in Christ and we walk by the Spirit to be sons of God. We follow Jesus by not walking by sight but by faith putting our eyes on Him as the author and finisher of our faith. God bless you sister Grace.
