I dye my hair about every 2 months, I started using filler, then I get the blue black onyx loreal dye and mix it with the developer(I buy it all from sally's). Well, forever, it seems like whenever I dye my hair, in about 4 weeks it just fades out to brown! I've had it dyed professionally, box dye, and now I use professional dye, but it's all the same. I know a girl who has green hair and it DOESN'T fade. IT stays green, you can see her roots grow in but still, the color stays. Why does mine fade out to brown? It is so annoying! It is only really blue black for like the first 2 weeks! And I barely wash it since I hate the color coming out, and I know they say wash in cold water but it seems to do nothing.
I do buy color safe shampoo though
Well you may need to get some professional shampoo that helps keep the color.
