im trying to track down my family crest/coat of arms. my family name is morgan, but its the irish morgans not the welsh morgans. my family came from County Armagh in northern Ireland, near the city of Newry. i have found several morgan crests, but they are just for morgans in general.

I am almost certain that Irish *coat of arms* are given to the county, not families. Here is a site with all of the crests pictured for all of the relevant counties. There are VERY few Irish families with their own *coat of arms*

The name *Morgan*I have searched and it isn't even listed on the Irish names origins, it keeps coming up Welsh.
