I'm european and latino, and see a lot of other europeans and latinos (even in my family) wear thin red braceltes made of string. a lot of them hide it under their watches or sleeves so you don't see it, so i've never asked my relatives cuz i guess they dont wanna talk about it if they hide it. i know about kabbalah and how they have those bracelets, but these people arent kabbalah, they're christians, so i was wondering what are they supposed to symbolize? is it to do with the evil eye and curses, cuz i believe in that (especially being italian and latino)...
