It is a fashion trend. Jewish people do not wear bracelets as far as I know......It is a fad and well......one has to draw attention when you are famous don't you think ?
Maybe they are also pressurised in a subtle way to advertise their cult/belief because they are in the public eye ?
Like I would strongly suspect that Scientology is using Tom Cruise and co. for their image and he is being pressured too. How ? I would not know. Pure speculation on my part.
Or maybe they are just show-offs and also try to defend their public image by conveying a message " I think !you know..I am spiritual....! Don't think of me as just a money-making machine"
