Need help with self hypnosis, contacting Spirit Guide?
Hello to all. I have a very bad panic disorder with agoraphobia and have been trying hypnosis and meditation to help. Recently I did hypnosis to contact my spirit guide, I did the breathing, became relaxed and followed the visualization the hypnosis gave me. I was sitting on a bench and asked my spirit guide to come to me. I did have someone appear that identified herself as mary beth and gave me great advice. But how do I know that my imagination didn't make this up? Please share your experiences and how you distinguish imagination from reality.
The best piece of advice I can give on this is to stop worrying about the "is it real or not." You seeking insight or guidance, does it really matter if it comes from a spirit guide, or if it is a metaphor created by your imagination? I doesn't really matter.
The insight and guidance are the parts that your looking for. your not a scientist trying to prove/disprove a spirit guide.
Sounds like you got some great advice, and if it is a great as you say, does it matter if it came from your imagination, your higher self/divine wisdom, or from a spirit guide?
Your looking only at the destination (spirit guide or not), look at the journey (the advice, wisdom, and insight) You will learn far more from the journey than the destination.
