Meditation Pillow
i have a general question to ask about meditation... 1) When I meditated yesterday, my mind felt great, I felt recovered relaxed and at peace (how you are supposed to feel) but my body was in moderate pain. I sat on two pillows and kept my back straight with my knees crossed and meditated for about 8 minutes. When I finished my legs and my back were incredibly sore. Is there anything that can help aleviate my pain? I cant think of any other questions at the moment but I'll be sure to post again if I do. Thanks. Hello Pain is one of those annoying issues that each meditator has to deal with in the start. If you are already in pain, then make sure that painkillers have been taken. If the posture that you have chosen is the cause of discomfort then you can change posture or choose comfier pillows, cushions etc. Sometimes pain is cause by the release of tension stored & shows up the point in the body where tension is stored for you as an individual, in which case this discomfort can be the source of your meditation.
