My family always takes care of our family and close friend’s graves sites. Typically, they are in small town communities, and the cemeteries are very well cared for. recently a family friend passes away, and was buried in a city cemetery, in which they only keep flowers that are in the plastic holders provided( which only holds one or two flowers), and the tomb stones must be flat, so they can mow over them. The other day I saw an entire dumpster full of silk flowers that they cemetery had pulled up, and were getting rid of. It bothers me that the memorial I place at friends grave is pulled up and thrown away as trash. We can't plant real flowers at the sites, because they can't be mowed over. Does any one have suggestions that will allow us to show our love to those that have passed, but won't be thrown away a week later?
I would go with real flowers too.
Although they die, they started out with more
life and they're beautiful.
Don't plant them, just get something to put them in.
Hope this helps! (:
