Plunge Standard I'm 23, with no degree, in IT and I hate it. Been working this gig for 8 years, and going no where by my standards. I have to see the world, thoroughly through every part. I love to capture scenes with my memory, keyboard and camera. I'm going crazy trapped in an office instead of being atop Mt. Everest investigating the direction the wind is blowing, or better yet the craters of Mars. The world has never been enough for me growing up, and now I'm stuck in an office determining if my department will break next month's budget because of the new servers we'll need. *sigh* What should I do? I make decent money and am on track to make lots more later. Should I settle for a mundane white collar job...or go blind, head first into an unfamiliar field armed only with my piqued interest? If I do make the plunge, do I go back to school or snake my way in sponging up knowledge and experience as I go? Any advice is much appreciated! Thanks, do it if u are already bored go your 23 make sure u leave them plenty of time to find a replacement for they will give u good resuema ...heck with school first see if u can do it with out, then if nessasary go
