Epitome of Innocence

God sent her a messenger,
And she took heed to what the Lord said.
Can you imagine her being a virgin,
When an angel spoke what the Lord had said?
She knew not a man,
The Angel of God told her that she'd bare a son.
Holy Spirit came upon her,
For God looked around Earth,
And saw that she was the one.
She bore our Savior in a manger,
A place not fit for this King.
Yet Our God sent His Only Son,
To save us from sinful things.
He came and preached and healed,
And no place did He have to lay His head.
They crucified Him,
And three days later Jesus rose from the dead!
As He ascended,
He commanded that we love and forgive,
And that we repent!
This Humble King,
Who died for us sinners truly IS,
The Epitome of Innocence!
You should make a book of your poems, see if you can get them published! It's beautiful, and so are the other ones you wrote.
