I just found out that my mother has been trash talking me in front of my grandkikds and turning my son in law?
against me. I was wondering why when I went to their house why my son in law never spoke to me and my grandkids would not thank me for cards, gifts, etc. The latest example was yeasterday when my youngest grandson told me he got a card and money from his nona (my mother). I also sent him a card with money because I know he likes to get mail. The other day when I asked my daughter if he received the card she said he was too busy to open it. He's only six years old.
When a fight broke out my son in law pointed to my mother and said-this is the only mother (my daughter) has ever known.
That was my mother's jab when I had my daughter in 1978 and my son in law would not have known that unless my mother is still on this high and mighty act. The ironic thing is just a week ago I wrote a poem about my mother's prayers and my father's dedication to my daughter when she was very sick remembering all they did for her. Now I regret sharing the poem because of her jealousy. How is this handled?
in lifes toils and troubles some families clam up, group together and go for anything they see as a threat, that a fact as old as adam and eve. life has taught me that if through calm group/family conversation problems cant be resolved its sometimes kinder for the kids to take a back seat and leave them to it
i had to do that with mine, apparently i am a b---rd, and my kids wot see or talk to me, truth is i was the 'fairy god father' who did sorted and provided whist the mother drank herself stupid and took drugs.
not fair is it BUT for the kids its best to dissapear, they will grow and see things for what they really are- then////iM BA ACK? thell come one day
