The one she bought me is exactly the same, but it doesn't have the beads on the side of the Cross. She always wears one herself and she's Christian or Orthodox Christian, I'm not sure. I'm Presbytarian, and I loved the bracelet so she bought me one and said that I can't take it off, even when I sleep and shower. She never takes hers off, and I'm a little worried if Presbytarians could wear bracelets like this, and if it's alright to take if off? Thank you for answering
It's just a bracelet and it's quite OK for you to take it off, nothing nasty will happen. I suspect your friend is Greek Orthodox and the bracelet probably holds a special religious meaning for her, but that doesn't mean you have to do what she does.
You are both Christian, although your churches have some slight differences, so even as a Presbyterian you can still wear this bracelet.
