I would like to move somewhere where i can own about 7 horses and 15-20 acres. How is life in Nebraska, mainly rural Nebraska. Crime, schools, weather, natural disasters, jobs, housing, land (cost), scenery, people (locals), etc. If you think that Nebraska is a good choice for me can you maybe suggest somewhere in the state, county, town, area (north, east, southwest...). If you think Nebraska is a good choice can you possibly list what other state is a good choice and why Nebraska is a bad choice, and why the other state is better. Thanks.
You don't have to move to Nebraska to own 15-20 acres of land. Several years ago my sister had that many horses on 15 acres of land here in Tennessee. I know people in Virginia, Texas, Michigan, Nevada, and many more states who all have lots of horses on 15-20 acres of land. It all depends on what type of land is important to YOU. If you like flat land where the weather can get nasty in the winter, then move to Nebraska. If you like dodging tornadoes, move to "Tornado Alley". If you like mountains, trees, and lakes, move to the Tennessee Valley.
