Ring Heart Stone My engagement ring has a heart-shaped stone (1.25 carats), and the heart shape is part of the band as well (i.e., a flat band will not fit against it at all). I know there are curved wedding bands, but they would totally mask the heart shape of the engagement ring. Is there another style that would work better with a heart-shaped engagement ring, or even an open ring that doesn't add extra bulk around the area where the stone is? Google isn't offering me much help with this! Thanks!! You would have to get an enhancer which would accommodate the dip of the heart, or otherwise try different chevron (vee-shape) bands. http://www.gordonsjewelers.com/product/index.jsp?productId=3491573&siteID=q5QZHUbCIj8-prl1K1qJfMbZnY0PT2WSAQ http://www.zales.com/product/index.jsp?productId=3482795&siteID=q5QZHUbCIj8-6LE9IE6VPV0oIW6svkZuMw http://www.gordonsjewelers.com/product/index.jsp?productId=3811170&siteID=q5QZHUbCIj8-ZYFG1C9Lya9jhw8sMX5ZLQ http://www.polyvore.com/cgi/img-thing?.out=jpg&size=l&tid=8609821 You just really need to talk to some experts at jewellery stores.
